An ample experience of about 200 years in the field of herbal medicine has its roots in Belambar. It was because of the fame of herbal medicine that Belambar a small village, has made its recognition in the world map.

Vaidya Shivu Bommu Gouda family had over 200 years of experience in Ayurveda and preparation of natural medicines. Raw materials such as rare roots, barks, herbs, resins, spices, pods and seeds are organically grown and collected from the Western Ghats of Karnataka state. Raw materials were individually hand selected by villagers under the supervision of family members then raw materials were processed by using mainly traditional methods and use of some manual machinery.
